Moon River Cottage
Life by the water, inside and out.
A waterfront cottage with generous glazing, comfortable interiors and outdoor spaces that make the most of its setting.
The project
A closer connection to the waterfront.
Moon River Cottage brings together a treed waterfront setting, generous windows and a screened gathering space. Dark exterior finishes and timber details sit comfortably among the surrounding rock and trees.
Inside, the emphasis is on light and places to spend time together. Outside, stone terraces and seating areas open toward the water. The gallery brings those indoor and outdoor views together without losing sight of the details.
The screened gathering space, timber roof details and broad areas of glazing give this cottage several different connections to the surrounding property. The photographs show both the finished interior rooms and the outdoor terraces, so you can consider how those spaces work together rather than judging the building from a single exterior view.
